Here the client wanted a quality survey undertaken as the building was being erected to insure that the work was up to a good standard. The construction was being undertaken by a design and build contractor, and the commission came to me from a well known national surveying practice who had need of an extra building surveyor to undertake the regular update surveys during the construction process.
